Career Kickoff Week
September 14-18 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

The Office of Student Employment and Placement Assistance (SEPA) will be on the road in strategic locations preparing you for the fall career fair. Students will have the opportunity to win prizes including Cirque de Soleil tickets and backstage passes.  Students will also receive 2009 American Eagle long-sleeve t-shirts, while gaining valuable information from employers who will be on site reviewing resumes.

University of Pittsburgh Fall 2009 Career Fair

The Office of Student Employment and Placement Assistance (SEPA) will host its fall career fair in the Petersen Events Center on Wednesday, September 30 from 1-5.  Over 225 employers are expected to attend this one-day only event recruiting for various full-time, part-time, and internship positions.    Beginning August 1st, pre-register to attend the fair by signing up on the Pitt Portal under Career Fair.  After registering students will have an opportunity to view employers registered for the fair along with the positions and location of jobs. 

 

Pathway to Professions

The seventh annual Networking Event:  Pathway to Professions is an informal networking reception between Pitt students and alumni which is co-hosted by the Pitt Alumni Association and the Office of Student Employment and Placement Assistance.  This year’s event has a new, fun and exciting approach to networking.  This new program format will make the interaction between Pitt students and alumni an efficient, comfortable, and an informative opportunity.  Also, author of Courting Your Career, Shawn Graham, M.Ed, a Pitt alum and currently the Director of the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Business School, will be a Keynote speaker for this year’s event.  Students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight about different careers from Pitt alumni.

University of Pittsburgh Spring 2009 Career Fair

The Office of Student Employment and Placement Assistance (SEPA) will host its spring career fair in the William Pitt Union on Wednesday February 10 and Thursday February 11.  February 10 will be for Technical majors and Thursday, February 11 will be for Non-technical majors.  Pre-register to attend this event beginning January 8th by signing up on the Pitt Portal under Career Fair.  After registering, students will have an opportunity to view employers registered for the fair along with the positions and location of jobs.

 

University of Pittsburgh Summer Survival Job Fair

The Office of Student Employment and Placement Assistance (SEPA) will hosts its first annual summer survival job fair.  Employers will be available to discuss summer opportunities including internships.

Matching Pitt students with employers seeking quality interns or full-time employees.
